There are some super powers that you develop when you isolate a lot.

I realized that when you spend time with other people alot, you edit your beliefs to accomodate others.

You know that a lot of blacks steal and kill, and that jews are greedy and communist and have bad morals. But you have to look jews and blacks in the eye every day at work. Everyone aroung you operates on the notion that these people are the same as you and good workers. So you develop a narrative to manage your cognitive dissonance.

People don’t develop beliefs just because they are exposed to facts. People adopt beliefs so that people will like them for (the wrong beliefs will get you killed). Human information processing is far from perfect.

When you spend a lot of time alone you don’t modify your beliefs as much to be liked. You are free to recognize patterns and come to socially disadvantageous conclusions. I guess more autistic people are always like this? But more social people may be far more programmable.

I am never lonely. Solitude is bliss.
