You sound autistic but I appreciate your input. I usually do shrooms alone and my only 'bad trip' was when I was with someone else. How would you rate ayahuasca?

Psychedelics put you into a more open state and other people can effect that state leading to a bad trip. Sometimes they intend to do it too (even without knowing it, their ego basically attacks you).

As you are probably aware, this happens all the time in our everyday lives under ordinary circumstances. One of the molecules in Ayahuasca is called telepathine, as it is thought to increase the potential for the individual to experience telepathic experiences. I can attest to this activity firsthand.

I have only ever experienced Ayahuasca in private settings. If I were to imbibe in a group setting, I would be *very* selective about who else was involved.

vomitting isn't fun, but you usually feel much better afterwards

I managed to keep it down once. That was a crazy part of the experience all on its own.

But I have had the distinctive smell of DMT seemingly come out of nowhere

I too pay attention to smells and, alas, am unfamiliar with this one. Have not had the experience of DMT on its own.

I do think it is produced in our bodies at certain times naturally

While the research has, to my knowledge, not been replicated in humans, it has been demonstrated to be produced within the pineal glands of rats:

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-019-45812-w

https://www.psypost.org/2019/07/study-provides-evidence-that-dmt-is-produced-naturally-from-neurons-in-the-mammalian-brain-54051

... for reasons I am unclear on

This is the part where we veer off completely into the realm of experience and speculation, rather than published science.

It is thought that DMT serves to facilitate a sort of orientation for the soul, with the body releasing relatively massive amounts at the 49th day of gestation (which some sects of Tibetan Buddhists and others believe is when the soul enters the body) and at the time of death, which is thought to explain near-death experiences.

Consider that many people report a realistic experience of death while under the influence of Ayahuasca and this idea may begin to make sense.

This is also thought to have been a feature of some of the ancient mystery traditions, some of which, it has been theorized, likely used a local analog of Ayahuasca.

I'd say the experience of gnosis is telepathic in nature.

In my experience, this is definitely so.

It has the most awesome scent, like some sort of super flower. Almost has a synthetic smell to it too.

How very interesting. That sounds like the sort of thing I'd be into.

Have you seen the Super Mario Brothers movie? All kinds of good stuff most people don't get in that movie.

Haven't and most likely never would have had you not mentioned it. I'll have to check it out sometime.

"He had returned from Orlando a day prior to admission, where he had attended a Satanic ritual to help with his self-diagnosed depression."

Firstly, there are few satanic-based groups that employ psychedelics, and so far as I am aware, all are based in EU and Canada. Not that I make any attempt to keep up on it anymore. Secondly, the fact that it was based in Florida suggests the group was santeria or its South American equivalent...both a far cry from satanism...unless one follows the xtian definition in which every religion not xtian or jew qualifies as satanic. The mention of kambo seals the deal:

Or maybe some rich kid water to get real high.

Yeah MAO Inhibitors do not mix with psychedelics. The satanist must have been a tard that wasn't aware.
