Individual votes can't do anything. The only ones politicians fear are those who can be more organized. Those who are both impacted by policy enough to care and have the organization to do something are corporations and other state powers. So every country is controlled by the intelligence services of other countries and not much else. It's like the world is run by an incestuous parasitism.
