Masks on Flights

First day traveling without a mask Roughly 4 or 5 people wearing them in the airport. More putting them on when they get on the plane. All are either fags, hippies, or libs.

Ive done a lot of traveling. Before the pandemic I would wear a mask if I was going East. Don't believe this bullshit that planes have fantastic air systems. They haven't any filtration past what is in your own home. You need banks of MERV13 or better filters and they need to be changed regularly to be effective. So call me a faggot, chinks, niggers and spics are filthy fucking people and If I have to breath the same air, Im protecting myself.

2017 I got pneumonia after a flight from Virginia to Atlanta to LA. Nigger filled plane.

Masks don't stop you from getting infected, they are designed to limit the spread of infection from a carrier sneezing and coughing everywhere but are largely ineffectual.

Its more of a courtesy to cover your face when hacking up a lung.

In a way I actually have slightly more respect for the people still wearing masks than the people who did it when told to and stopped when told to stop. This really is the only truly correct assessment. They are either broken because fear or decided (with or without trying to research anything) that they just wanted to. The ones who lived in fear or because someone told them to are the problem, not the people who decided on their own.

Now on that note, Japan has a pretty decent history of wearing masks when they're sick. It's partially to reduce any spread they can and partially because many of those masks are medicated to help clear nasal passages or prevent them from drying out.

Honestly I'd rather wear a mask on a plane now that others are not. I don't want to be trapped in an aluminum tube with a bunch of open mouth breathers breathing their polluted breath in to my air. When everyone else was wearing masks I had no worries - they were filtering themselves. But now? Yeah, I'd consider wearing a mask now. Filthy open mouth breathers...

I went on three flights with a mask. If I had to get jabbed to fly, I wouldnt have done it. But yea, a mask or 14 hours in a car one way to go see the wifes fam in texas? The mask was a small humiliation ritual I was willing to go through.

In order to keep paying the bills I had to. In fact I traveled all through COVID and didn't catch it until this last February. I never got vaccinated. I don't think the masks helped at all but I did judiciously wash my hands and sanitize my hotel rooms.

I felt like airplanes were the safest place and early on when the airports were empty and it was me, a few passengers, and the crew, they certainly were.
