Sounds like you need perfect grammar to get an idea across. Sounds like you're embarrassed if you don't perform to your own high standards with spell check, and grammar check. Sounds like you wouldn't want the people you're impressing instead of talking to to know you went back and edited a hasty sloppiness.
Perhaps it is an issue of where you are trying to express a somewhat complicated idea / thought, and you would like to make sure that what you are expressing is portrayed in print as the same light as to what you are actually thinking. Some people might put more effort into a post then.
The formatting engine of the editor is complete garbage, and that is why you do not see any formatted posts, and potentially a reason why you are not getting more intelligent posts that might actually increase the user base.
I understand how that would not be an interesting feature for a mental midget like yourself, but others may agree that this is actually a good idea.
