You know, I don’t know. I know people who do it. You gotta get tags and turn them in, and I’m sure it’s all toms, not hens. I’m not sure what the season is. It’s all around me though where I am. Pheasant, turkey, deer, duck, etc., and of course, open season on coyotes. I haven’t gotten one yet, but twice I chased one across the field from my back door with a mini 14. Fucker was zig-zagging like a nigger headed for a touchdown. They’re smart as fuck. Fast too. My mistake was the scope. I’ve since removed it as the peep sights on a mini are all you really need.

I have two broody hens right now. Seems like there's always a few that switch to broody when spring comes. Been pulling them out every few hours and having to deal with their freakouts. It upsets my rooster Pretty Boy, but he hasn't done shit other than body block me to keep me away from them. Chickens are entertaining.

Yeah, I noticed that right after I posted. Should've looked at the picture better, but I saw hen and assumed your dumbass chicken was laying out in the woods. It's happened to me before. Didn't get eggs for like a week once and went "What the hell is this?" Found like 20 eggs underneath some plywood sheets leaning against my pole barn.

Hey, my chickens are smart man! Yeah, I had one hiding her eggs under an ocean container that was set on rail road ties. By the time I found where she was hiding them, there was 29 pretty blue eggs. All still good!
