Nursing homes aren't the answer. The CNAs and nurses routinely ignore people who they think are too needy. I've seen one guy walking around with the pants he shit in for at least 3 days. I'll see in awhile if he's still in the same clothes. I think he will be

Most nursing homes deal with 'trouble' inmates by drugging the shit out of them. If they think these people don't have long to live then they starve them as well to accelerate the process. I actually understand the motivation behind these decisions and it boils down to this: The business has limited resources and can devote only so much of these resources to any given inmate. Now, if the inmate happens to have a good personality, and gets the the staff to like them that inmate will get much better care.

Yep. I overheard the nurses talking about giving someone sleeping pills because he wouldn't stop pushing the call button. At the last one I was at they joked about putting some in this old Germans lady's ice cream because she constantly asked for it at night

We no longer have the extended family clan structure that allows us to take car of the elderly while also taking care of the children and doing all the needed work and prepping for war.

I already had to make the choice of putting my terminal dad into hospice care. He actually died 20 minutes before the process was to begin. The best advice I can give is to take the time to repeatedly think through what you would do in various scenarios as you hear others talk about them or see something in a magazine, TV, movie, etc. Like anything in life, it's best to be prepared for the inevitable.

I got a call to assist a paramedic team with an unresponsive. When I get on the scene he's so unresponsive the guy is dead and the paramed is still giving him compressions.
Turns out the man checked himself into a the nursing home the night before but there were only lazy niggers on duty. Niggers were probably tired from raping and robbing and it was late so they said he could just go to bed and they'd check him in in the morning. Well the guy died in his sleep and the dumb fucking niggers had no idea who he was. Their plan was to call 911 and report someone unresponsive. When he doesn't come to (because he's fucking dead) they could say they followed procedure. I was pissed and tried to say something but got another call and had to get shifted off the scene. I have no idea if the niggers were ever caught.

If you have an elderly family member go to the nursing home and check it out thoroughly- take a tour, meet the entire staff and stop by unexpected. If you see ANY niggers working there find another one. There are nursing homes without nignigs but you'll probably have to pay a little more.
