The issue that often plagues any community like this is a lack of clearly established tenets. Not excessive rules, not excessive moderation, but well understood tenets. You would think that facing the specter of extinction would cause all the squabble to end, but a lot of us don't yet understand. Logically, the core tenet of a racially conscious White community should be:
All Whites that are or can become racially conscious, that have not betrayed the White race, are welcome.
That is the baseline. It allows for the widest selection of individuals without compromising the central mission, which is to secure the future of the White race. Questions of morality, politics, social behaviors and religion should all come second. It doesn't mean that those topics shouldn't be debated, but after any ideological sparring match the two sides should be able to shake hands and continue as peers. Both sides should be able to agree that, at the very least, they both have the best interests of the White race in their hearts, no matter how fervently they disagree on methods or policies.
Another point I'd like to make is addressing why communities like this often miss this critical tenet. Not surprising to anybody that has spent a while in communities such as these, but the fact of the matter is communities that are 'White racially conscious' often do not start out that way, at least not explicitly. The schism over "free speech" that is ever present here points to the fact that there isn't a clear consensus on what I'm describing.
Simply put, communities like these are often just '(limited) free speech platforms,' and nothing more or less. That's how old Voat was as well. Sure, implicitly it was White Nationalist HQ, but it was never explicitly so. The majority of us would probably like an explicitly White racially conscious community, but the mistake often made is believing that this one is it.
This is why there is no solidarity, no community, no agreement on the most basic things that seem obvious. This is why the seams have barely been sewn yet, let alone that they tear: we can't even agree on the color of thread to use.
The genes we have now were constantly modified throughout our history — much to the chagrin of our adversaries. Maybe we need them modified once again....
Well their frontal lobe volume is lower than ours; the largest frontal lobe volume belongs to the N.W. Europeans, specifically the Nordic peoples. The downside to that would be toxic altruism of course.
Insofar as the number of mutations being lower, I hadn't seen data to support that (open to it of course). They do have larger cranial capacities, and higher IQ's (North East Asians specifically), but yes, they appear to be lower on creativity and empathy, but higher G.
Also, the Sino languages and their relatives are nothing but abstractions. Jap and Chi being ideograms and logograms (with some pictograms thrown in for some very basic words). But Whites employ a 'Genius strategy" so our mean might be a little bit lower, but creativity is a hell of a drug (as well as a high risk/reward strategy). Creativity also lowers social cohesion so it's a tradeoff which mostly fails. But the benefits of useful creativity are such as to warrant the cost (genetically speaking).

That's an interesting study, but I doubt if it answers the question I had for @15MAR. This tells me how some population geneticists define 'whiteness', which they don't do, but instead use regional ethnic categories. Of course, on our own we could cluster all of those ethnic groups we consider white into one super population, but you'll note that most studies similar to this one don't even attempt to do this for white groups in America, or the 'mixed American superpop'.
I stand to be corrected, but this study seems only to demonstrate that there is a statistical (PCA) possibility for identifying whiteness by the way genomic markers segregate. This is not useless. It gives us a good, reasonable basis for defending our use of the term white. It does mean something, but that something refers to a range of groups, from Russians to Slavs to Western Europeans and Scandinavians.
Exactly how are you (hypothetical person establishing this definition) going to define whiteness for practical and political purposes, or even just social purposes? The commentator said that the Voat community should be limited to white people. If someone is half Russian and shares grandpaternal genetics (on one side) with someone slightly too far to the right on the scatterplot, are they in, or are they out?
What precise field of that eigenvector plot is going to be set out as distinctly white?
Moreover, how is this definition going to be deployed at the level of politics/community? Are you going to perform a 550,000-marker genome analysis of anybody who claims whiteness? After all, if you're going to set out a definition of whiteness based on population genetics, then you couldn't consistently say the test is going to be self-reports from your four primary grandparents. Or maybe that is what we do for the sake of simplicity. Everyone carries around a card that vets their 'pedigree' if they have four white grandparents.
Of course then you'd have to arbitrarily set out some kind of governance for determining what grandparents counted as white.
Or maybe we just go by skin color? Or maybe skin color combined with intelligence level, income, and whether someone owes a ton of back taxes to the government.
Take all of these questions simply in the context of this site. 15MAR says this site, if it to become purist about its racial consciousness, should only permit whites. It should be obvious that you don't know the race of a single person using this site. You infer it for some users based on your interactions with them, but you don't know. Are you expecting the ideological enforcement of white love to make people self-select for their actual whiteness, and to discourage non-white users? That might work for some, but not for the Jews we are most worried about.
If Voat were to ever act as the starter seed for an actual community in the future, how would your protocols change for determining whether someone could be a part of the community. Say there was a user at this site for ten years, a personality that the entire community liked very much and who was judged as having a positive impact on the community.

Are you going to toss him out because of your strict biological determinism? I would define 'White' as:
Anybody that descends from European ancestors, having genes which were historically present in Europe (and in territories conquered and settles by Europeans, such as North America and Australia),
And that does not have a significant proportion of genes that are of non-European origin.
Defining 'White' and accurately categorizing who is White are different matters entirely.
As you've rightly pointed out, this isn't as cut and dry as we would like, and it leaves a lot of ambiguity as to what the "cut-off" point is between White and non-White. So I will add to the above, having fulfilled the criteria described earlier:
Anybody that looks White (phenotypical traits) and behaves White (behaivors similar to historical Europeans).
This narrows it down some, but the question of where the "cut-off" point is remains:
Is somebody that is half non-White still White? Definitively no. Somebody that is a quarter non-White? Most likely no. Somebody that is an eight non-White? Probably no. Somebody that is a sixteenth non-White? Maybe no? It is hard indeed to determine exactly when somebody is non-White genetically, phenotypically, and behaviorally, after successive generational mixtures with only White genes.
In a 'real world' scenario of course people could be tested as to whether they fit the genetical criteria above (i.e., if all four of your grandparents were White and nobody in the lineage committed miscegenation, then you count as White). Of course, then you'd have to somehow know that the grandparents themselves fit the definition, and so it would recur forever. The only way to reach a generally accurate conclusion is as you've described, be examining a combination of phenotypical and behaivoral traits.
Now, all that being said, what does it mean in the context of an online community of the racially conscious? It's true, we can never know the race of people online. All the ways we would test for race go out of the window when the only thing we have are words on a screen. When everything else is obscured, more emphasis has to be placed on the behaivors of the members of the community, since that is what can be observed. For instance, I could say one behaivor I would consider 'White' (in the context of racial consciousness) is appreciation of other Whites that fit the base-line:
Whites that are or can become racially conscious, that have not betrayed the White race.
So by this metric, anyone that denigrates Whites which fit the base-line (without a good reason) would be 'acting anti-White,' and so would be viewed as more damaging instead of more productive. What I'm describing is not an active 'policing' of the community, but an integral tenet that is understood by members, that to be in the racially conscious community means to cooperate respectfully with others for the betterment of the group despite potential disagreements.
The example you gave at the end, of somebody 'behaving White' that might be considered non-White, raises a different point: what about non-Whites that are also racially conscious or sympathetic to White racial consciousness?
Well the question then is if we want to achieve a 'White' racially conscious community or a racially conscious community for everyone. This is another debate, but I would say that in White racially conscious communities, non-Whites which may be racially conscious or sympathetic are still not welcome but can be tolerated.* They aren't 'welcome,' as it would be a White community, but they can be allies in achieving our goal, and so can be tolerated (in my opinion). I think of George Lincoln Rockwell and Malcolm X finding themselves on the "same side" when it came to integration of the races.

I'm not suggesting you are wrong; most of your post consists of stipulation, so it's not quite appropriate to call it wrong. But let me suggest that this is indicative of value claims primarily, so I'm wondering if there is any real work being done by the 'whiteness' stipulation at this point. Especially in the case of an online community, what you've specified here mostly pertains to what a person values.
So the real suggestion is that we already have something that accommodates and exhausts the values in question: religious community. If all of the methods you mentioned have these practical caveats, such that by the end we are talking about race-conscious values and cooperation and value-alignment, it seems clear to me that our concept of The Good is doing the real work here, and not race. Instead, race is becoming like drapery over the fundamental religious structure.
If such a race conscious community could be established online without true knowledge of people's race/pedigree, this means necessarily that whiteness cannot be a sufficient condition for someone having the 'right stuff'. This also leads us to think that we are prone to an attribution error. Now, this is not an unsafe or impractical attribution error: favoring whiteness is in our interests empirically, but this is a heuristic plainly. Again, if we could establish the right kind of community online, then we have proven our attribution error, and all of our talk of strict biological criteria is really just hand waving.
If what we're truly after here is that people have an identical (or at least so close as to be indiscernible) worldview with respect to the greatest Good, then what that really means is we're after a people who have the same God - for God is a person's vision of the highest Good. I believe that man has already discovered the ideal structure for associating people with the same vision of the highest Good.
To me, and this is becoming more subtle, the real issue is selecting for people with the degree of sophistication to understand how God relates to the hierarchy of goods present in the material world, including the ability to grasp social hierarchies and to cope with one's place within them. The problem with properly organizing non-white members of such a religious community is a failure to understand that metaphysical equality (separate from the matter of our biology) is not the same as biological equality. We are each situated - in the real world - between those are are inferior to us, and to those who are superior. It is for the intelligent man to learn about and to cope with his place in this hierarchy.
One option is to curate and live within a group of all equals. That seems to solve the problem of hierarchy, right? Just separate by race, and our problem is solved. I don't think this solves all problems. Rather, I think appropriate racial separation falls out of a proper religious worldview. If we can't first agree on the highest Good as an object to worship and target/imitate, then we will not agree about how to situate the material goods of the world, including how to situate human beings in the hierarchy (I consider this one of the main cultural problems of secular humanism).
If we start religiously, then hierarchy becomes intelligible. When hierarchy becomes intelligible, then the social game can be coped with. The main problem with egalitarianism is the incentive for people in the world (Jews) to call inequality unjust wherever they find it. I believe religion is a strong foundation for making the case that inequality is not injustice, whether it is intra-racial or interracial. Anyone who is capable of (a) sharing my values and (b) grasping that, on average, their best in life may never exceed or even equal the best from another (say, a black person realizing they are disadvantaged with respect to whites), is someone I think fit for life in society. People must learn to recognize what 'level' their individual game is to be played at. Someone with an IQ of 90 has a place in the world, a place where they can do something useful for the common good and feel fulfilled if they are targeting their proper game; our politicians today succeed on the basis of causing people to target the wrong games. They make people believe there is injustice because we don't all belong in the same game.

I believe it wasn't even a natural occurrence (black communities in the US, for example, were doing far better in the 40s than they are today, and rates of dual-parent black homes were far higher). Our situation had a grenade dropped into it by groups attempting to attack us.
True, I describe values, which are only a part of the whole of 'Whiteness.' However that is only in the context of an anonymous online community. In a 'real world' scenario, vetting by values alone isn't enough due to the chameleonic nature of some, jews in particular. So whereas online judging by values is all we have, in a 'real world' scenario words alone would never be the sole defining factor of an individual. And since text is all there is online, and is free for interpretation, chameleons operating online couldn't gain as much as they could in person.
What I mean by that last point is if someone appears pro-White and says pro-White things (even if they aren't pro-White in reality), their words can still be taken at face value since any potential harm they can do is greatly mitigated (by virtue of text being the only thing they can affect). Now the real danger that is still present online from such chameleons is subversion of values, yet that can be opposed by readily sticking to tenets and noticing any attempted shift away from those tenets. Anybody that is involved in any community that is critical of jews should be familiar with the concept of subversion. Introduce core tenets, and it shouldn't be hard to sniff out attempted subversion.
What I've described sounds very much like a religion, because it essentially is one. And that is intentional to an extent, since a 'religious' devotion to the values we want to defend is necessary. Now where we might disagree is: where do the values we want to uphold come from?
I believe values originate from the propagation of certain genes over time (i.e., evolution). However, I also think that religion plays the very important role of curating which genes prosper in a society. Natural selection is that, the natural amoral filter of which genes survive and which don't. A gene thriving in a population isn't automatically 'good' for members of that same population, especially for a modern civilization. And so, this is where religion can shine, by further molding the population to a more ideal and 'good' state. In short, I believe values are intrinsic to genes, and so that's why emphasis must be placed on the 'Whiteness' of the group, and a robust 'religious' ideology of upholding those values is necessary to ensure its security.

Blacks in the past indeed behaved comparatively better than blacks today. But does this indicate that culture is more of a driving force for prosperity than genes, or something else entirely? I believe that since the more racially conscious White society of the past didn't tolerate blacks as they are now, blacks in the past had no choice but to behave better. They developed a culture that was comparatively superior to the one of blacks today, and had they kept to that culture for many generations, they would have been a better group than what they are today, as better traits would have propagated. But how they are today proves, in my opinion, that genetic destiny ultimately better explains the situation. Cultural and religious values of old have been purged for all groups in the U.S. yet Whites still behave more or less 'good,' and blacks behave overwhelmingly 'bad.'

All Whites that are or can become racially conscious, that have not betrayed the White race, are welcome.
That is the baseline. It allows for the widest selection of individuals without compromising the central mission, which is to secure the future of the White race. Questions of morality, politics, social behaviors and religion should all come second. It doesn't mean that those topics shouldn't be debated, but after any ideological sparring match the two sides should be able to shake hands and continue as peers. Both sides should be able to agree that, at the very least, they both have the best interests of the White race in their hearts, no matter how fervently they disagree on methods or policies.
Another point I'd like to make is addressing why communities like this often miss this critical tenet. Not surprising to anybody that has spent a while in communities such as these, but the fact of the matter is communities that are 'White racially conscious' often do not start out that way, at least not explicitly. The schism over "free speech" that is ever present here points to the fact that there isn't a clear consensus on what I'm describing.
Simply put, communities like these are often just '(limited) free speech platforms,' and nothing more or less. That's how old Voat was as well. Sure, implicitly it was White Nationalist HQ, but it was never explicitly so. The majority of us would probably like an explicitly White racially conscious community, but the mistake often made is believing that this one is it.
This is why there is no solidarity, no community, no agreement on the most basic things that seem obvious. This is why the seams have barely been sewn yet, let alone that they tear: we can't even agree on the color of thread to use.

Insofar as the number of mutations being lower, I hadn't seen data to support that (open to it of course). They do have larger cranial capacities, and higher IQ's (North East Asians specifically), but yes, they appear to be lower on creativity and empathy, but higher G.
Also, the Sino languages and their relatives are nothing but abstractions. Jap and Chi being ideograms and logograms (with some pictograms thrown in for some very basic words). I stand to be corrected, but this study seems only to demonstrate that there is a statistical (PCA) possibility for identifying whiteness by the way genomic markers segregate. This is not useless. It gives us a good, reasonable basis for defending our use of the term white. It does mean something, but that something refers to a range of groups, from Russians to Slavs to Western Europeans and Scandinavians.
Exactly how are you (hypothetical person establishing this definition) going to define whiteness for practical and political purposes, or even just social purposes? The commentator said that the Voat community should be limited to white people. If someone is half Russian and shares grandpaternal genetics (on one side) with someone slightly too far to the right on the scatterplot, are they in, or are they out?
What precise field of that eigenvector plot is going to be set out as distinctly white?
Moreover, how is this definition going to be deployed at the level of politics/community? Are you going to perform a 550,000-marker genome analysis of anybody who claims whiteness? After all, if you're going to set out a definition of whiteness based on population genetics, then you couldn't consistently say the test is going to be self-reports from your four primary grandparents. Or maybe that is what we do for the sake of simplicity. Everyone carries around a card that vets their 'pedigree' if they have four white grandparents.
Of course then you'd have to arbitrarily set out some kind of governance for determining what grandparents counted as white.
Or maybe we just go by skin color? Or maybe skin color combined with intelligence level, income, and whether someone owes a ton of back taxes to the government.

Defining 'White' and accurately categorizing who is White are different matters entirely.
As you've rightly pointed out, this isn't as cut and dry as we would like, and it leaves a lot of ambiguity as to what the "cut-off" point is between White and non-White. So I will add to the above, having fulfilled the criteria described earlier:
Anybody that looks White (phenotypical traits) and behaves White (behaivors similar to historical Europeans).
This narrows it down some, but the question of where the "cut-off" point is remains:
Is somebody that is half non-White still White? Definitively no. Somebody that is a quarter non-White? Most likely no. Somebody that is an eight non-White? Probably no. Somebody that is a sixteenth non-White? Maybe no? It is hard indeed to determine exactly when somebody is non-White genetically, phenotypically, and behaviorally, after successive generational mixtures with only White genes.
In a 'real world' scenario of course people could be tested as to whether they fit the genetical criteria above (i.e., if all four of your grandparents were White and nobody in the lineage committed miscegenation, then you count as White). Of course, then you'd have to somehow know that the grandparents themselves fit the definition, and so it would recur forever. The only way to reach a generally accurate conclusion is as you've described, be examining a combination of phenotypical and behaivoral traits.
Now, all that being said, what does it mean in the context of an online community of the racially conscious? It's true, we can never know the race of people online. All the ways we would test for race go out of the window when the only thing we have are words on a screen. When everything else is obscured, more emphasis has to be placed on the behaivors of the members of the community, since that is what can be observed. For instance, I could say one behaivor I would consider 'White' (in the context of racial consciousness) is appreciation of other Whites that fit the base-line:
Whites that are or can become racially conscious, that have not betrayed the White race.
So by this metric, anyone that denigrates Whites which fit the base-line (without a good reason) would be 'acting anti-White,' and so would be viewed as more damaging instead of more productive. What I'm describing is not an active 'policing' of the community, but an integral tenet that is understood by members, that to be in the racially conscious community means to cooperate respectfully with others for the betterment of the group despite potential disagreements.
The example you gave at the end, of somebody 'behaving White' that might be considered non-White, raises a different point: what about non-Whites that are also racially conscious or sympathetic to White racial consciousness?
Well the question then is if we want to achieve a 'White' racially conscious community or a racially conscious community for everyone. This is another debate, but I would say that in White racially conscious communities, non-Whites which may be racially conscious or sympathetic are still not welcome but can be tolerated.* They aren't 'welcome,' as it would be a White community, but they can be allies in achieving our goal, and so can be tolerated (in my opinion). I think of George Lincoln Rockwell and Malcolm X finding themselves on the "same side" when it came to integration of the races.

So the real suggestion is that we already have something that accommodates and exhausts the values in question: religious community. If all of the methods you mentioned have these practical caveats, such that by the end we are talking about race-conscious values and cooperation and value-alignment, it seems clear to me that our concept of The Good is doing the real work here, and not race. Instead, race is becoming like drapery over the fundamental religious structure.
If such a race conscious community could be established online without true knowledge of people's race/pedigree, this means necessarily that whiteness cannot be a sufficient condition for someone having the 'right stuff'. This also leads us to think that we are prone to an attribution error. Now, this is not an unsafe or impractical attribution error: favoring whiteness is in our interests empirically, but this is a heuristic plainly. Again, if we could establish the right kind of community online, then we have proven our attribution error, and all of our talk of strict biological criteria is really just hand waving.
If what we're truly after here is that people have an identical (or at least so close as to be indiscernible) worldview with respect to the greatest Good, then what that really means is we're after a people who have the same God - for God is a person's vision of the highest Good. I believe that man has already discovered the ideal structure for associating people with the same vision of the highest Good.
To me, and this is becoming more subtle, the real issue is selecting for people with the degree of sophistication to understand how God relates to the hierarchy of goods present in the material world, including the ability to grasp social hierarchies and to cope with one's place within them. The problem with properly organizing non-white members of such a religious community is a failure to understand that metaphysical equality (separate from the matter of our biology) is not the same as biological equality. We are each situated - in the real world - between those are are inferior to us, and to those who are superior. It is for the intelligent man to learn about and to cope with his place in this hierarchy.
One option is to curate and live within a group of all equals. That seems to solve the problem of hierarchy, right? Just separate by race, and our problem is solved. I don't think this solves all problems. Rather, I think appropriate racial separation falls out of a proper religious worldview. If we can't first agree on the highest Good as an object to worship and target/imitate, then we will not agree about how to situate the material goods of the world, including how to situate human beings in the hierarchy (I consider this one of the main cultural problems of secular humanism).
If we start religiously, then hierarchy becomes intelligible. When hierarchy becomes intelligible, then the social game can be coped with. The main problem with egalitarianism is the incentive for people in the world (Jews) to call inequality unjust wherever they find it. I believe religion is a strong foundation for making the case that inequality is not injustice, whether it is intra-racial or interracial. Anyone who is capable of (a) sharing my values and (b) grasping that, on average, their best in life may never exceed or even equal the best from another (say, a black person realizing they are disadvantaged with respect to whites), is someone I think fit for life in society. People must learn to recognize what 'level' their individual game is to be played at. Someone with an IQ of 90 has a place in the world, a place where they can do something useful for the common good and feel fulfilled if they are targeting their proper game; our politicians today succeed on the basis of causing people to target the wrong games. They make people believe there is injustice because we don't all belong in the same game.
I believe this can be fixed. I believe it wasn't even a natural occurrence (black communities in the US, for example, were doing far better in the 40s than they are today, and rates of dual-parent black homes were far higher). Our situation had a grenade dropped into it by groups attempting to attack us.

What I mean by that last point is if someone appears pro-White and says pro-White things (even if they aren't pro-White in reality), their words can still be taken at face value since any potential harm they can do is greatly mitigated (by virtue of text being the only thing they can affect). Now the real danger that is still present online from such chameleons is subversion of values, yet that can be opposed by readily sticking to tenets and noticing any attempted shift away from those tenets. Anybody that is involved in any community that is critical of jews should be familiar with the concept of subversion. Introduce core tenets, and it shouldn't be hard to sniff out attempted subversion.
What I've described sounds very much like a religion, because it essentially is one. And that is intentional to an extent, since a 'religious' devotion to the values we want to defend is necessary. Now where we might disagree is: where do the values we want to uphold come from?
I believe values originate from the propagation of certain genes over time (i.e., evolution). However, I also think that religion plays the very important role of curating which genes prosper in a society. Natural selection is that, the natural amoral filter of which genes survive and which don't. A gene thriving in a population isn't automatically 'good' for members of that same population, especially for a modern civilization. And so, this is where religion can shine, by further molding the population to a more ideal and 'good' state. In short, I believe values are intrinsic to genes, and so that's why emphasis must be placed on the 'Whiteness' of the group, and a robust 'religious' ideology of upholding those values is necessary to ensure its security.
I agree to an extent. Online, I agree that those that understand this point can partake in the community (since, as we talked about before, it's impossible to even test for race online). In a 'real life' situation, I think communities should be arranged by race first, then by values, due to my belief that values of a race come from the race itself.
Blacks in the past indeed behaved comparatively better than blacks today. But does this indicate that culture is more of a driving force for prosperity than genes, or something else entirely? I believe that since the more racially conscious White society of the past didn't tolerate blacks as they are now, blacks in the past had no choice but to behave better. They developed a culture that was comparatively superior to the one of blacks today, and had they kept to that culture for many generations, they would have been a better group than what they are today, as better traits would have propagated. But how they are today proves, in my opinion, that genetic destiny ultimately better explains the situation. Cultural and religious values of old have been purged for all groups in the U.S. yet Whites still behave more or less 'good,' and blacks behave overwhelmingly 'bad.'

You are free to question my motives behind this post. Some thought I was virtue signalling. Would I know if I was? I feel badly that this user left because I liked him.
