Many oligarchs were Soviet officials who privatized and took over entire industries. The Soviet Union did not collapse. It went underground and rules from the shadows. Soviet jews still run the show, just as zionist jews run the show in the West. This would go along with the origin theories for today's kikes. Soviet jews from Khazaria, with the rest of "European" jews coming from those who dispersed into the Roman Empire and mixed mainly with women from Southern Italy. Of course, there is overlap, making up ashkenazim as a whole.

I'm honestly beginning to wonder if this whole Ukraine thing is being done to clear the area of Europeans so kikes can reestablish Khazaraia, much of which is now modern day Ukraine. Israel relies way too heavily on imports, being a desert country (a big reason for wanting to pass anti-boycott laws). Reestablishing Khazaria would give Israel a guaranteed source of imports such as wheat, in case the goyim start acting up.

I don't think he's based but he's way better for the people of ukraine and they should gove up or negotiate peace. Join the combat footage telegram you'll see how the ukranians are fighting like the Taliban while the Russians are providing tons of aid and avoiding civilian casualties as much as they can. Most Ukrainians hate Zelensky he's like their Biden. They've only been not Soviet since 1991... People there just want their lives back.

When the soviet union collapsed the CPSU saw the writing on the wall and consolidated as many assets as possible into Rossiya Bank. As soon as the dust settled they set about taking down Yeltsin and replacing him with someone more loyal/malleable. So they funded the career of a former KGB man and career communist. As soon as he got into power he set about restoring the soviet union in all but name, reining in as many of the secessionist SSRs as possible and suppressing any internal nationalist movements.

The main strategic difference between the current regime and the old one is that they're no longer using ethnic Russians as their lynchpin of loyalty. Russians have proven too nationalistic, so they're being replaced by an ethnically divide swirl of south asian muds.
