I just want back what we lost from voat.co. It's been an impossible task, but still worth aiming for. Thanks man Happy Easter to you as well.
He was so typical of people I've interacted with all my life. They are lost and adrift on a sea of uncertainty when they suddenly come across something to cling to and take inordinate comfort in. Then they are terrified of ever letting go of the 'something' lest they be cast adrift once again. They will fight tooth and claw to defend their precious something and will lash out ferociously at anybody who tries to point out that maybe their 'precious' isn't so precious.
I don't know that he really added anything beneficial to the site because his forte seemed to be shitting up posts.

I think that is an impossible task and you are setting yourself up for disappointment. The past is over and done. We are now in a time of constant change. Whatever this site becomes will be something different than Voat.co, but it is also an opportunity to create something better. I can't tell you what that 'better' will be because it all depends on the users base and you.
