You need fat for healthy hormones, preferably animal fats. They put unhealthy fats (vegetable oils) in literally everything, just read your ingredients list. You will see canola, soybean, or some form of vegetable oil in everything, and that is by design. There is a reason that obesity has gone up while vegetable oil intake has increased and animal fat consumption has decreased.
Not to mention that prescription statins are insanely profitable while doing nothing for actual health. Cholesterol is a precursor for all hormone production, not the cause of CVD.
Yes, maximize your protein intake, but do not be afraid of animal fats, just vegetable oil

Yes some fats/lipids, though. If you don't get enough calories from lipids (after your body has had all the protein it can process), you'll have to make up for it with inflammatory carbs.
Avoid those (grains but especially sugars). Have them last, in small quantities, after you're already full.
Also avoid preservatives (including 'cured' / excessively salted and 'smoked' as well as chemicals like nitrates and nitrites).
