My team ran recon for TF373.

I've written a 40 page book about my experiences that no one will ever read. Maybe my family when I die. I watched a Ken Burns documentary about Vietnam years ago which inspired me to write about this stuff. Years ago I had to come to terms with the fact that I'm a bad person, I've been content ever since. I used to say happy but recently I realized happy isn't the correct way to articulate how feel and content is a much better adjective. Flush.

I read a true story about an Army guy that didnt want to be captured in the Philippines so he stole a 12 ft boat and sailed it all the way to Australia. It took him almost a year. That's why I really cannot let anyone read it. I thought about letting my sister read it but decided not to for two reasons. There is stuff in it that could get me in trouble and you never know how someone will react to something, even family. Secondly I think I'd be looked at differently by her.
