Pretty sure its effective within 48 hours. Possibly longer, not sure. A case you're describing is not as common as the general "I don't like that guy anymore, so he raped me" type or the "my country is full of niggers and a pack raped me" types.

Curious if there is any statistics out there saying what percentage of rape victims is held hostage for X amount of time versus not held hostage.

It's gotta be a very small amount. Which is why I believe abortions should be rare. I'm sure there are other examples of legit exemptions

Yeah, but then again ever since Roe v Wade there hasn't been a single concession given to mens reproductive rights (yet you always hear how "the courts are getting better for men" - they aren't)
