I'm out $50 for betting that Gen Z would know what a Lemming is.

Made a bet with a coworker that the next generation wasnt as retarded as he was, that they weren't lemmings charging off a cliff. He didn't know what a lemming was, so we shook on it. A Gen Z'er walked out the door, college educated btw, and she had no idea what it was. I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

Also can I get a tag for NSFL? The ammount of stupid on all sides of this makes me wish I had information leading to the arrest of Bill's Wife.

Is it possible that lemmings are artificially reintroduced into pop culture every few generations? First the disney nature "documentary", then that stupid game, and then it was popular to know Disney murdered the first lemmings. Maybe we're the lemmings, and low white birth rate is the cliff, and kikes are the ones chasing us off that cliff?

I know what a lemming is. A lemming is the main character type in one of the free games that came with the Sound Blaster Pro in the mid 1990's. They do in fact naturally charge off cliffs.

There was a competition in maxis (or whatever game company) to come up with the simplest pixel art walking animation. The guy who won made this looping animation of a bunch of weird little creatures being killed by a bunch of torture devices. Everyone loved it so they built a game around it.

It's a moot point to point out the myth when the coworker didn't know what a lemming was, let alone the myth. It had been my understanding, regardless of the accuracy, to refer to sheeples as lemmings running off a cliff; a part of the coloquial parlance.
