We have an article in our constitution that explicitly states that the family are the primary educators of children. It’s a good clause to have, basically means parents can object to curricula and demand their children be excluded from aspects which they find objectionable. Our schools haven’t become weird dens of queer nonsense yet thanks to them being almost all controlled by religious orders, but given how that constitutional article can be used to have children excluded from religious instruction even in religiously run schools it could also be used to demand exclusion from queer nonsense if and when it ever arises. If the US had a similar clause things like the recent anti-groomer legislation in Florida probably wouldn’t even be necessary.
