I've always been annoyed that men give me way more compliments on my looks than women. Women instinctively know that men want their approval, and they just don't give it to us on purpose.

Basically. I'm amazed at how many brainlets ITT can't figure it out. Men perceive attractiveness on a normal distribution that matches the reality of the attractiveness of your average population of women. Women by contrast see almost all men as unattractive, and even the most attractive men they see do not match their ideal of what a very attractive guy looks like. Women think people on TV are real.
