It's great for boosting the immune system, reducing inflammation, and reducing histamine. Liposomes cause better absorption and permit higher effective doses of the stuff. One tablespoon of this stuff can be taken as often as every 2 hours, which allows for a maximum dosage in a 16 hour window of about 24,000mg of vitamin C.

I should add that the process is very temperature sensitive. If you exceed the recommended temperatures at any given step, it pretty much ruins the batch.

He's probably making it and taking it for a reason. People can take massive amounts of vitamin C, in excess of 120,000mg in a single IV drip if you get it via IV. The intake limit for liposomal vitamin C is only there because your poo will liquify, and you won't absorb it or anything else very effectively beyond the maximum dose.

Hmmmm, I appreciate your input. People seem to have varying responses to these things; in my case, and in several of my lymie friend's experience, vitamin C helps to reduce inflammation greatly. The main downside that I've heard about is that it's high in oxalates, but it can be more or less dealt with with a decent daily dose of NAC. I'll have to look into the iron problem. I believe I have low iron though, as that's tends to be a typical immune response since most pathogens depend on iron to survive, but borrelia uses manganese instead. It's possible that an increase in iron is part of what makes us feel better when taking it, lol.
