I’ve become so tired of the same old crap on our three local radio stations, day after day. All 3 play the same “A” side hits over and over.

So, I’ve begun digging up old CDs and listening to the rock that really matters. I detest the age of “I’m a loser, why don’t you kill me”, and “down in a hole”, and the like. All of that music is designed to repress, oppress, depress, and possess you. Negative messaging, I want it out of my music, out of my life. Even “welcome to the jungle” is a terrible message, about drugs and crap. It’s all no good.

I want to listen to rock without messaging and agendas. The blues for instance, can’t beat Stevie Ray Vaughan. AC/DC, no agenda there. Even Pink Floyd is fucked up.

Its a shame you don't listen to classical music. It's just beautiful music and no messaging. There's even Richard Wagner, who was an Aryan and despised jews. He has a character named Beckmesser, a detestable jew in his opera "Die Meistersinger".

There's a local uni that plays classical music on the radio, I like to leave it on for the dogs. Unfortunately they too have become infected with diversity. In the last couple of years they've started playing "ethnic" music more and more. Jungle-nog "beats", old bad jazz, and other random shit without a genre.

I don't even bother with radio at all these days, just for the reason you mention. I have my own music collection and it's all digitized. I can listen to what I want, when I want it. It's a shame, though, to see what happened to the great classical station. I left California in the 1980s for several years. My favorite radio station then was KFAC, a classical station with a powerful antenna and very wide broadcasting range. When I moved back, some corporation bought the station and change the format to club music. The station donated their record library to University of Southern California. That really bummed me out.

23yrs ago I walked away from all of it including TV.
Some folks just get it sooner than others.
Everything is a controlling addiction hiding under entertainment labels.

By us, every other station is NPR. We have literally 15 or more NPR stations going all the time.
Flipped around on AM and found a station that plays nothing but music from 78s and wax cylinder recordings. It’s all new to me so I am good for now

Let me add that in this day of assuming Neal Pearl and Travis Barker are good drummers, and the idea that GNR or STP are now classic rock, consider listening to the first four Zeppelin albums and getting back to the fact that Bonzo was and is the best rock and roll drummer ever.

Ive been watching Rick Beato’s “what makes this song great?’ videos. Okay its boomery. And you probably know every song he does. But he deconstructs them and it really makes you appreciate the song a little more. He does a lot of stuff from the 70s, 80s, and 90s.

On a live stream he was doing one time he was talking about this band he worked with called 'Jump Little Children' and I commented in the comment box on the side that name sounds like a bunch of pedophiles in the band and he ready my comment out loud as it was scrolling by and when he got to the pedo part of it you should have seen his reaction.
