Dailystormer is only TOR accessible for the time being. 2 domains seized. Because kikes can't let Russia talk continue. Appending .pet (or other onion gateways) make it accessible without extra TOR software. ISPs may still kvetch at it.

Using brave, that has built in tor, is better than using pet if you are willing to take that extra step. Why would someone agree to be the domain to transfer over clearnet the least moderated content of the internet (tor in general) if they didn't want that sweet sweet data? "Logging racists" might be a part of that sweet data.

Then using actual tor browser is better than that. But if you aren't using Brave yet it's good timing to switch because at the very least you never have to think, oh no, a tor address how am I going to access that. Tor domains are equal to non-tor domains in brave. If everyone used it we could ditch the ICAAN over night.

This is a good point about escaping a centralized authority using TOR and hosting websites on .onion domains. It is very easy to host a website on TOR using OnionShare. If you haven't tried it yet, I think you should prove it to yourself. It would take about 10 minutes.

If Voat were hosted on a .onion, we would still be left with the centralized authority problem, though:

a) TOR uses a centralized authority for its DHT (Distributed Hash Tables)
b) the website is centralized and controlled by the publisher. This makes it vulnerable.

Using i2p (or even better, Lokinet) would eliminate the first problem, as i2p doesn't have a centralized authority for the DHTs. Lokinet is similar in this regard, but has lower latency.

Web-browsers are for http. Aether uses a different protocol. There isn't a dedicated Daily Stormer community on Aether yet, but you can create /b/DailyStormer if you like. If Andrew Anglin decided to create one afterwards, he could also create a /b/DailyStormer. There would be two. (You can't "domain" squat on Aether.) People would compare the communities, establish that one was official, and participate there.

You only use the web-browser to reach the Aether http webpage to download Aether. (You could instead download Aether using i2p or IPFS.) After you have an Aether client, then you would not need the browser.

I hope you give it a try. Check my previous posts. Also, by default everything is NSFW, so enable NSFW.

You think voat is more popular that dailystormer? Highly doubt it. Daily stormer has been around much longer and is much more notorious than voat. Very few people have heard of voat.
