that looks like its sea launched. most sea launched missiles are fired vertically.

most can. longer range bigger missiles tend to want to be launched on steep angles or are big ass buggers. shorter range tend to usually get fired at much shallower angles towards the target cos they dont need to go as high up. ive seen lots of types of sea launched surface to surface missiles skim like that but i dont think many of them change their trajectory like that one does.

EDIT - there ya go, second vid mentions it originally being an anti ship cruise missile which is good for ground targets. so its short to mid range, and is probably one of them ones that skims the ground until near its target then pitches up then comes down on its target.

Interesting, the videographer in the second video knew how many were going to be launched.

are very low flying missiles detectable on radar? iow are there any missiles that aren't?

They are detectable by radar from above (AWACS) but are difficult to detect from the surface.
