I just drove home, fast, through the Texas Hill Country. Just watched Joe Rogan at the Vulcan club on 6th street. April 7th, 2022.

Many, many are moving to the Hill Country so after driving 2 hours to get there, picking up my date in Wimberly, TX, I was a little stressed from the traffic. My real estate agent who I was celebrating with because we had just sold my ranch making me an instant millionaire who also helped me to go under contract to buy my new house were going to enjoy the based Joe Rogan.
Got there early on 6th street, walked across to some little hole in the wall, which that street is littered with, when I try to walk in to a somewhat deserted bar when a black dude stops me and asks for ID. I pull my wallet out, holding both of our licenses towards him with proof we are both in our mid 50's when he motions me to move 5 feet off of the carpet....power play by this punk.

I've spent too much time here goats, I looked at this guy and said "Fuck you nigger." The shock in his demeanor and the shock of the other three "fellers" standing around was priceless. Glanced back at my real estate agent, walked forward through the screaming monkeys (they did not like me using the magic word at all) crossed the street, and went straight into the Joe Rogan show.
Had a blast. Was ready for trouble in case they tried anything when we left. I told her to just run.

I was a bouncer for over a decade, not once, NOT ONCE did I treat a customer with the innate disdain that fucking nigger treated me with when he expected me to move off of the carpet to check my mother fucking ID's when NO ONE was in line.

I know this sounds unbelievable, but I'm telling you the truth. I am mid 50's, 6'3", injured in Baghdad, and carry a 5 foot ironwood walking stick. Did not expect those words to come out of my mouth, especially on a date, and with other "fellas" around. I've been living in the Texas Hill country for a while and have not had much experience with the darker persuasion fellers since moving out here from San Antonio. Lots of bean-eaters, not too many watermelon eaters.

Fuck the niggers, and fuck what they are doing to this country.

Don't mean to change the subject, but I've got to tell you about one of the coolest spots in that area you and your girlfriend should visit. Go to the Blanco River where it crosses Rt 12 just south of Wimberly. Just east of the bridge there's a public area where you can park your car to go swimming. The river is slow and deep until it reaches a part where it shoots over a shallow section for about 200 yards making it a kind of natural water slide. There are dips and pools of this fast moving water that create natural spas filled with effervescent bubbles and underwater caves. When you're standing in the right pool of bubbles up to your neck, you can find the opening by groping around with your legs. (You can't see it because of the bubbles). Once you locate the opening, dive under and squeeze through the cave mouth and you will emerge in a small chamber with only enough room for your head and shoulders above the water. It's oxygenated by a constant supply of airbubbles from the natural spa, but the water is crystal clear and calm and you can see down the length of your body to where your feet disappear in the bubbles of the natural spa. It's well lit by reflected light. If you can get past your fear of being crushed like an ant lion in a hydraulic press in the event of an earthquake, it's an experience you won't forget.

It's a great place to cool off on a hot summer day.
Bring a waterproof camera. I wish I did.

Be careful. It's real slippery. That's what makes it like a natural water slide. The locals called it brown algae or rock algae, but when I scrapped some off an underwater rock to look at it up close, it looked like millions of tiny leeches to me. Apparently not the blood sucking variety though, because I couldn't get any of them to attach to my arm. They were slippery like little eels, though.

This story reminds me of a bouncer I knew who worked at a Connecticut gay bar called “The Danbury Man-Cherry.” He told me of interactions similar to yours and he would call those patrons “Surly Sallies.” He said the best way to curb these types of outbursts (aside from denying entry outright or alluding to the idea of them blowing him), was to sternly reproach the offender by barking: “NO GLORY HOLE!” and radio in to the bouncer covering the bathroom area and describe the guy so he had no access there. These Nancies changed their tune real quick after that.

p.s. Last August when I saw Rogan same place I caught covid, almost died from it due to pre-existing lung injuries, I also hit a damn hog on my way home on the same road I drove last night. If I did not have a full reinforced steel deer guard in place my vehicle would have been disabled from the impact!
