Why modern dating is so bad.

So there are these videos where some guy makes fun of the tiktok feminists and their "dating advice" and if you watch enough of these,you notice a pattern. All of them are about "playing men" and "getting the most out of them". Namely,money,but also privilages,like being able to cheat and get away with it.

On the other side,we have PUAs and "chad behavior" videos that are all about getting women to sleep with you and then,ideally,dumping them.

The thing is,all of these "dating gurus" are giving advice on how to use people and not about finding love. And none of them are talking about the fact most people don't even know how to date properly.

So,to that end,here's how to date properly. The goal of dating is not to "speed run" to the "good bit". It's about slowing down,taking your time,and getting to know each other. If you don't like someone with their clothes on,you're not going to fall in love with their clothes off. You're not going to like someone more with a stomach full of fancy food. All the money in the world won't make someone you hate a good life partner.

If you want sex right off the bat with no strings attached,go to a whore. If you want money from men without a commitment,become a whore. It's just more honest. Dating is for people looking for a committed relationship. If the dating pool is full of whores and johns,it will continue to be a shit show. Look yourself in the mirror and accept what you really want.

And both men and women need to understand the current system is bad for men. Getting married these days is basically handing a woman a "fuck me" button and asking her not to press it. Which she can do at any time for any reason. This needs to change.

As well as alimony being a taxable income. This encourages courts to level heavy alimony payments so they get more tax money. If a man pays 3,000 dollars a month in alimony,and the government gets 1,600 of that,that means the woman is getting 1,400 to live on,which isn't much. So the man's paying too much,the woman's getting too little,and both are basically much more broke than they would've been if they'd stayed together.

I guess a definition of "work" would be in order. I don't think work is only about problems and arguments. The work of marriage is taking the time to buy flowers once in a while, remembering anniversaries, taking the kids when the spouse needs a break, etc. Yes, there is work that involves figuring out issues and problems, but a lot of the work is in building the relationship in a positive way, searching and finding ways to grow together. If there is nothing but problems and arguing in a marriage, then something is broken and probably needs professional help.

That's hardly work. The work of marriage is getting along with each other. Chores and errands are things that need be done. But the work of a marriage is knowing how to deal with the same person day after day after day. That's the hurdle everyone's falling at because they don't select mates by their ability to get along. They're choosing who turns them on. And the people who turn you on aren't always the best people to get along with.

If you have someone you can get along with,you have a perfect mate. That's what people should be selecting for. Not the instant gratification of someone you just want to bang.

The whole fiasco called "dating" has descended to "put on enough fakery (both parties) so that the real you is hidden enough so the other person likes you enough to move forward."

Dressing up for the date, mounds of makeup, going someplace fancy, etc.... does that represent a person's daily life? Not usually.

And the conversations are typically so superficial to keep the other person from screaming and running away from the real you.

Society has crafted this "ideal" of the dating world, where conversations are "deep and meaningful" but that doesn't happen. Daters hardly ever talk about sex, or love, or expectations, etc.

It's not hard to like the superficial layer of most people, but what does it take to love the real you?

Everyone puts on masks all the time. Are you the real "you" at work? Are you the real "you" with your parents? out in public? in church? etc.

The whole "debt free virgins without tattoos" meme went viral because it was something few people actually talk about on dates, but men innately desire.

Getting expectations out there up front (both parties) would make dating a lot more productive.
