Yeah. This is me pointing at my own post. I had trouble signing up here and keeping my same name.

Almost 20 years ago in Austin I amazed people by saying I was straight. Years later I was clued in that people were saying they were LGBT just to fit in. Either way, I've long maintained you can't raise a kid in Austin and expect them to come out straight.

It happened fast. I remember the first two times I ever encountered gays, in separate cities, in the early 2000s. It was like, whoa, I've heard of these, and here I am encountering them! Then I return to Austin where I went to university, and everybody was suddenly LGBT.
