The most likely result if this actually happened: The IRS would've flagged this person for potential fraud and obtained copies of all these records directly from his brokers in electronic format. Putting those paper records together would've only made a headache for himself.
If this was real, at first glance it seems like he is just begging for a revenge audit, but with all the paperwork he provides without one the agents might actually be scared to ask for more.
