"Fun" story: My father-in-law had a worker in a forest, who died, because he didn't step back some steps right after cutting the tree. The trunk popped to the sideways and up to the height of the head and it knocked right into the skull, killing the guy instantly. Can happen in thick forests, cause of pressure/resistance from branches.

I knew this lady a couple years back, after we had a storm her husband went out to chop up a tree that fell across their driveway. While doing so another tree just so happened to fall down and hit him right in the head and killed him on the spot. Don't fuck around with trees

The infamous barber chair. I cut down a dead ash tree about this same size on my property. Planned where i wanted it to fall, cut limbs off strategically so the mass would go where i wanted it, planned my escape routes and removed debris that could trip me up, used wedges etc. Seriously 90 percent of it was planning for maybe 30-40 seconds of actual cutting. Im no professional but my kids were watching and i didn't want their last memory of me to be me getting crushed like an idiot.
