Just a thought: South Park pilot episode.

So if you're a South Park fan,you know about the "Spirit of Christmas" holiday video card which became the ad hoc pilot for South Park. If you don't,basically,Santa Claus and Jesus end up coming to blows over who's more important to Christmas with the boys arguing that both are important in their own ways.

When you know the history of Santa,which is he's a christian rebranding of Odin much like how Christmas is just Yule in a christian skin,and Jesus,it takes on a whole new context for it.

Santa,representing the original European religions,and Jesus,representing the Abrahamic religions,fighting over who's more important to white Europeans. An interesting question. Where do you stand on this?

Santa was just to get you to forget about the religious (baby Jesus) aspects of Christmas. Worked like a charm

A catholic Saint who died a martyrs death for Christianity.
Both are Christian and Santa would bend the knee to his lord in a heartbeat.

And he flew around on a sleigh and delivered gifts to good little kids? Yeah,I didn't think so. Meanwhile,Odin did have a history of flying around on his 8 legged horse and giving gifts during the wild hunt,which happened during Yule.

The one thing Santa, Odin, St Nicholas, Jesus and God have in common, is that they are all fictional or fictionalized in the case of St Nicholas. Real guy, but basically everything known about him is legend. If you believe in any of them, you're falling for bullshit.
