I have read the whole article and honestly I still don't get why the war happened. The "nazi" argument is bullshit, it reminds me strongly of the USA invasion of Iraq and justifying it with "weapons of mass destruction". If Ukraine really wanted to attack Russia all Russia had to do was wait for the attack and defend with all its might being the victim, not the invader, there would be zero problems in relations with the west. To me (and I am no expert) this war still makes zero sense.
