That's a Nara Deer. There are thousands of deer in Nara. They don't give a fuck about cross walks. They own Nara and they know it. They'll cross anywhere they want. This person just happened to find the one deer who accidentally crossed at a cross walk.

I went to Japan as an exchange student in high school. One day, we went to Nara. A buddy of mine was a tiny dude. We sat down to eat lunch and a bunch of Nara deer ganged up on him and stole his lunch. They like egg sandwiches and Coca Cola.

My oldest brother and my father used to hunt a lot when I was younger. My parents had a full size freezer in the basement to store the meat.
