Any of you fuckers ever have a cyst on your ear?

I got this fucking cyst about the size of a big marble under my ear. It's swollen and painful, I think it's infected. Any of you guys know what to do? I've lanced it a few times with a sewing needle and got a buncha blood out, but it just fills back up. I broke down today and drank cat antibiotics and some steroids to see if that'll work. I really don't want to go to the doctor, but it's starting to worry me.

It's called a sebaceous cyst. Nothing to worry about unless it bugs you. It usually requires a doctor to slice it open and remove the sack inside, otherwise it will keep coming back.

No, but I had a cyst in my left nut a few years ago. It wasn't fun. Hurt so bad that I thought it was torsion until the ultrasound results came in. Luckily the meds they prescribed did the trick and surgery wasn't required.

I had a friend with one of those and it ended up bursting while he was sleeping one night and splattered all over his pillow. It eventually went away once it started healing. If you lance it, you need to remove the puss sac lining inside it otherwise it will come back. Looks like pulling dead skin off someone with a sunburn.

YES. I got one in college back in the 90s behind my ear. I had to get a plastic surgeon to freeze and lance it. Do NOT cut it off. It'll make it worse or so I'm told.

It's not actually the ear, but my ear is swollen from it. It's just underneath. Right in the area that my headphones sit, which is probably the cause.

see a doctor asap. The danger is the thing gets infected. I had a cyst at the top of my backside caused by hairs falling down my back from hair cutting and I stupidly left it for a couple of years and ended up spending 4 weeks in hospital after a surgeon dug it out. If a doctor gets to it quickly enough penicillin can zap it.
