China responds to NATO's call for it to condemn the "brutal invasion" (NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltengberg's words), China responded today by saying that they "will never forget" NATO's deadly bombing of their embassy in Yugoslavia in 1999; and that they do not need a "lecture of justice" from an "abuser of international law".
NATO countries attempted to gain authorisation from the UN Security Council for military action, but were opposed by China and Russia, who indicated that they would veto such a measure. As a result, NATO launched its campaign without the UN's approval, stating that it was a humanitarian intervention. The UN Charter prohibits the use of force except in the case of a decision by the Security Council under Chapter VII, or self-defence against an armed attack – neither of which were present in this case.
I mean, are we going to pretend either of them give a shit about international law? If they thought they could get away with it they'd instigate some incident and invade taiwan tomorrow. The reason they haven't is because the US navy is still too powerful to tangle with and they don't want to lose face.
I don't think that'll happen, the chinese have been bred for centralisation over thousands of years. If they had an independent streak they would have shown it by now.
That's the thing about china, no matter what happens to it it never really dies. They can have a famine so bad they end up eating babies and dead people and they'll still bounce back within a generation.

This series of events has been a big boon for China. The west has shown that it is more concerned with virtue signalling and feminist projection than in holding territory or power. They have convinced themselves they are "owning" Russia and Putin himself, as he sleeps in an actual palace. This will likely accelerate moving off the petrodollar, as well as accelerate shifts in global alliances. If I was a non-nato, non-western nation I'd be like "what the fuck...why would I cozy up to the cuckolds only so they can watch me die?" Why would I poison my nation's culture for that?
I saw a picture early on of the war and there was this advertisement of a 400lb femwhale selling a "cool" product in Ukraine. That's the "culture" being lost.
I mean... their embassy got accidentally hit in the middle of a war. If that's the worst they have to complain about then they're doing well. They're lucky they don't live near Israel.
Also at the time there was a lot of people saying China shouldn't be admitted into the World Trade Organization because it didn't meet the criteria for entry, but look what happened: (jewpedia again): https://files.catbox.moe/6aoiyl.jpg
The thing to keep in mind is that the CIA is the one who targeted the embassy, I mean, um, some other building, I mean the embassy, I mean, LOOK squirrel....
That was an interesting read thanks. I had no idea so much went into hitting that stealth bomber. I thought it was a mixture of luck and USAF being overconfident.

Us: China don’t start a war with Taiwan
China: you guys start wars all the time. Why can’t we have a war?
