I don’t totally disagree with your statement. Like many other conservatives he is still operating on a lot of assumptions from the old paradigm that are wrong and he wants to be liked desparately— not painted as a racist villain— and he has not yet accepted that that strategy (color blind and ‘chistian’ values) will never ever pay off in this climate. I think we can still appreciate that he has some good sense but is still young and perhaps the scales will one day fall from his eyes.

I hear you, truly. I was completely apolitical, yet left-leaning with my jew brainwashed ways until three years ago and made MANY dumb decisions that I’m ashamed of, quite frankly. Just of the cuff, have you heard of senolytics? Its a strategy for treating some chronic illnesses. The gist is this: its better to kill old, dysfunctional cells which are just stealing resources from healthier cells (senolysis). I see that some senolytic drugs are being tried on copd, like metformin and low doses of chemo agents such as rapamycin, and some tyrosine kinase inhibitors. Ask your doc about senolytics, or maybe seek out a doc that prescribes them. Well think about it anyway.
