Killdozer 2.0 could use one of those.

I wonder though, if this method was successfully implemented without other complications, and then it becam popular, is there a thresh hold limit to how much cool water you could heat without instigating some kind of irreversible internal cooling event? Or is this risk negligible?

Nothing is free. Earth's protective magnetosphere requires an internal dynamo of molten rock and iron... so, let's cool it down. Risk is death of all surface life. Negligible?

we're already losing that magnetosphere, at least according to the usual science jibberjabber

Classic,libtard reply.

umm, no it's not libtards bringing up the magnetosphere/solar-driven 6000 and 12000 year disaster cycle

lol, you know what I mean. Is the transfer of heat negligible in regards to this. Fucking christ dude I'm the one that brought it up and then you googled it after reading my comment.

I think gravity and celestial tides would keep it hot.

In 50 years there will the "humans are causing the core to cool" crowd - led by Al Gore.

We have to give up all of our lifestyles so he can stay rich (and be kept alive). He will never give up his private jet, yacht, 6 mansions on the beach, etc.

Geothermal power has considerable potential for growth. The amount of heat within 10 000 metres of the earth's surface is estimated to contain 50 000 times more energy than all oil and gas resources worldwide (Shere, 2013).

10km is only about 6 miles deep and this is intended to go 12 miles deep.

The amount of heat drawn away from the core using this method will most likely be negligible. I was just pondering how one would begin the calculation of how fast heat in the core is generated to how fast it will be drained using this method and whether or not that this would introduce a significant threat towards an internal cooling disaster.

Wonder if this laser could dig a hole to China…

Just a worthless point of interest here....when I worked underground back in the late 70s as a "Hard Rock Miner", I always found the geophysical aspects of the subterranean environment I was working in as nature's classroom...underground streams' waterfalls, mineral vaugs (caves), red acid water and consistently warm temperature at a mile below the earth's surface. At a mile down you're working in coveralls with only a t-shirt and light pants underneath.
But nevertheless, these clowns are fags anyways.
