2000 light years is right up close in the cosmic scheme of things, thus the Milky Way Galaxy where we live is variously estimated to have a diameter of 100,000 light years.

While radio data has found Sagittarius A* recognized as the heart of the MW, lies at a distance of 24,250 light years. Cosmology on Microsoft Picture Manager.

Galaxy GN-z11 seems to be the farthest detectable galaxy from us at 13.4 billion ly .. let's hope the James Webb ppl and the dickwits at ABC.net.au can do a little better in the future, despite the New Atlas.com and Business Insider articles are similarly full of bs. Big Bang .. Big BS Astronomical Redshift is an Artifact of Distance.

Do you mean 2,000,000 light years away?
