It seems to me the AK-47 stands alone as the most 'bad' gun and thus the coolest. For years it has vied with the AR-15 as the gun American liberals want to ban the most - and actually was banned in the Clinton era 'assault weapons' ban. Though in truth it preceded the AR-15 as evil gun number one. In addition it is associated with mass shootings, is known as the jihadist terror weapon of choice, and most of all - is RUSSIAN. Need I say more?

Didn't know that. If true it doesn't surprise me. The Soviets basically copied a lot of stuff from Germans and Americans.

So is it also a Nazi gun? Coolness overload, Batman.

Something there about him being a "Kazakh farm boy" too. I think that part is wrong. Or in any case I think he was a Russian.
