Porn hub is an extremely censorious site. It has censored millions of videos in a single night and countless more throughout its existence. Now it has censored itself from an entire nation.
I do not cheer its censorship. I prefer self determination when it comes to media.
I do however cheer its voluntary removal from society.
If only all censors would follow their lead.
Russia is fortunate that those like Pornhub and Visa / Master Card remove themselves from their society.

Is porn free speech? Debatable. It's not what the founders had in mind when they wrote the 1st Amendment, that's for sure. Consider:

1) Hold a sign in public up denouncing the government.
2) Have sex in a public park.

Two is not legal under the 1st Amendment, and only the most extreme libertarian would hold the view that it is. But distributing videos of the act is "free speech"?
