If there's one thing I hate, it's when any ad cycles through a series of actors only to have each of them say a different line of a speech, like they are all the puppets of some singular hive mind infection.

Or to have them all say the same word or part of the speech, and cut through them as they just say those one or few words.

All the while sappy music plays in the background.

You know the bit:
Actor 1 - "we all have to do our part"
Cut to Actor 2 - "to do better for people like me"
Cut to Actors 3, 4, 5, all saying the same line: "and me"
Cut back to Actor 1: "and me"
Cut back to Actor 2: "so that we could build back better"
Cut to Actor 3, 4, 5, and 1, all just long enough to say this one line: "build back better".
Cue the end screen, with that same phrase on it: "build back better".

This shit is everywhere in ads and psa's, and it needs to stop.

Why the fuck do they do this? Who decided that this was an effective way to get a message across? It's annoying as hell whenever I see an ad or psa that pulls this shit. I just want to punch the nearest person I could find whenever I see it.

Passive-aggressive submission is what they're teaching everyone. That way they can be magnanimous and forgive you if you're useful, or use your "microaggressions" to attack you further.

Most Chink made ads are terrible and the actors they hire are a bunch of amateurs.

This is not as cringe as I expected going in. Bad, but it's not literally current year bad.
