Is it an online game? Yes? Ok. No? Eat a bag of dicks. Anyone who buys this is feeding the shit show. Diablo 2, an ancient game was able to seperate offline and online play with these issues in mind and you never had to connect to the internet until you wanted to play online.

When they say anti-cheating, they mean anti-piracy. Harder to pirate games that phone home all the time. DRM has to do this weekly, anyways.
