Exactly. But when you’re left on the outside to speculate like this, I can imagine that actual US installations would probably have pretty rigid exit strategies to self destruct or get out. If I was Russia and actually worried about these facilities I’d have bombed them first, but the early stories of that happening have been sketchy at best. And would have killed Americans.
Yeah,that's why the first shots of the invasion should've been a forced take over of one of those labs. Kill everyone there,cap the docs,and get the fuck out. If it doesn't blow up,go back for more.
