There are 51 ships listed as being used in the Transatlantic Slave Trade between the 16th and 19th centuries. 660m / 51 = 12.941m slaves per ship.

Assuming each crossing took two months, and they needed another 2 months to get back to Africa (and no stops to re-provision and re-crew), that's 4 months per cargo load of slaves.

Now let's be generous and assume each ship could hold 600 slaves (most held 200-300). 12.941m / 600 = 21,569 trips to carry their share of slaves.

21,569 trips x 4 months per trip = 86,275 months, or approximately 7,190 *years.
