This guy has a great channel. He travels all around remote areas of Russia and neighboring countries to talk to the locals and get their perspective on things.

Been watching all of the soviet travel videos. Getting testimony of people that lived through the time plus knowledge from Voat gives a better understanding of things.

I noticed that the worst parts of Russia are still far far better than the worst parts of the US.

Even things like the old soviet style train and metro stations are way better than any station in the US. Obviously due to demographics.

I watch his videos sometimes. Only thing I don't like about him is how hard of a boner he has for the Soviet Union.

I hear you. I think he's more interested in just meeting people all over the world not just Russia. But it is a bit strange he has a Soviet fixation!
