A long while back when my daughter was only 7 a mongrel mix came into the yard and headed straight for her, it was a race against seconds but I knew I couldn't outrun the dog but I got within feet of her just as the mutt was lunging at her and I hurled a brick and hit the dog in the side of the head and it rolled in a daze and then fucked right off with it's head hanging, it hit the ditch and rolled in confusion. A good friend of mine was with me and turned sick White over it and was shocked. Later that night I get visitors from the SPCA, a "sergeant of arms" for the humane society, I never heard of such a stupid thing, anyways, he asks me if I knew anything about a dog that had it's neck broken and that there was a full investigation involving police and the SPCA.. I told him to go bother someone else and that I have no idea about anything but I told him that there's more troubling things to worry about than nuisance dogs...he was pissed at my lack of concern for a fucking mutt that I would have shot if I my weapon was on me at the time instead of laying on my workbench. Fucking dog lovers have gone too far.
