It seems most news is this way these days, intentional or not. They make a statement that one group of people with pre-existing beliefs will accept as truth, and then have a couple people say "It is not a sure smoking gun, maybe just a coincidence". Then people with the opposite point of view of the first groups have their beliefs validated. Both groups feel that the story proves their beliefs correct. I think this is how the mockingbird media has so successfully made 2 neighbors live in entirely different existences from each other.
