1. europe was always dependent on russian oil and gas, nord stream 2 would have made it even worse, it wouldn't have been a disaster for the US by any stretch

specialist Mike Whitney has written conclusively on this topic

mike whitney's oped is retarded:

The Ukrainian crisis has nothing to do with Ukraine. It’s about Germany and, in particular, a pipeline that connects Germany to Russia called Nord Stream 2.

Just read the first sentence and try to make sense of it.

The US Foreign Policy establishment is not happy about these developments. They don’t want Germany to become more dependent on Russian gas because commerce builds trust and trust leads to the expansion of trade.

Sources for literally any of this? How does MORE dependency build trust in any situtation? Trade between Germany and Russia has been down since the annexation of Crimea. Trade with Russia is of necessity, nobody actually wants to deal with them.

I can't even get to the second point without a wall of text.

Funny how Ukraine wasn't even on the radar for the 4 years of trump.

But as soon as pedo joe stepped in, now suddenly Ukraine is the top issue.
