That's not what the bicameral legislature and electoral college do. You seem not to grasp the nature of function of these bodies.

The electoral college effectively acts as a scalar field upon people's votes altering the majority. It's supposed to be another layer of representative decisionmaking but it never worked like that in practice.

The bicameral legislature prevents a few states from dominating all the others through weight of population. That also alters where the majority lies, but doesn't prevent it existing.

The US was a majority white, but was never set up as an ethnostate. Germany was an ethnostate because it consisted of Germans. White doesn't count as an ethnicity and it only seems that way here because black people have no fucking clue where they are from. Ask a black person what their heritage is in the US, and they'll say "black" or some nigger version of it. As a black person that almost anywhere else and you won't get that answer. Go to Europe and ask white people what their heritage is and I guarantee you they won't just say "white". Calling "white people" white deprives white people of all the culture they have created between Scottish, Irish, British, Italian, French etc. So, no. The USA was never, by definition, an ethnostate.

White americans were effectively an ethnicity of their own at that point. And yes, the US was set up as an ethnostate.

The one thing we do seem to agree on is the fact that the USA is too large and too diverse of opinion to continue in its current form. That, I will agree to.

Yes. Not only that but no country that size can be called a nation.
