Heinlein was right in his philosophy of force.

They had solved all problems in his world.
Racism ended when there was only one race.
Religious wars ended with the last beleiver.
National conflicts ended where there was one government.
Inequality ended when the genetically inferior were purged.

Any other dispute or source of discord was overcome, not by finding a way for all sides to live in peace, but by deciding the victor.

Those who saw and knew that if there was disharmony between them and some other party, that society would not step in, and they'd have to fight to decide who wins and who loses.

So people started to pick their battles very carefully, and be very polite. Because everyone had the will and means to settle anything that comes their way.

In the 1800s US you had to work damn hard as a politician not to get lynched, or tarred & feathered.
