More like a benefit / cost decision. They want the optics that they are making arrests. Then they release them 15 mins out of the city without charge. No court costs, no jail space needed.

Agreed, but this one did a good job at shining a light on the underlying Marxist roots.

Based on what I'm hearing in all these debates right now it is clear that ndp and libs can't hide the erection they get when they think about this power grab. Monday they will vote in favor of keeping the act, a day or two later the senate will do the same, then we pass the point of no return.
