Winter Olympics

We should just call it the White Olympics. Sure, ya got some zipper heads mixed in there but it's mostly White people.

As a side note, I'm fairly certain most of these games started as drunken bets to keep people from going insane during the long winter. Luge, skeleton, bobsled, ski jump? Come on, those sports reek of "Hey y'all, watch this!"

Curling is the sedate version of a "hold my beer" sport.

I don't know about all of the winter sports, especially the "current" ones, but most started as training and methods of warfare.

The first Greek olympics were all based on displays of prowess for war, and most of the events restarted in the modern era were very similar.

Skiing and the shooting sports are all based off of winter warfare.

I would say that sledding in different forms has some benefit for war in snowy climates.
