Stop giving me reason why it can't be done, start looking for was that it can.
Paradoxes are not allow to be discussed here, it's pure demoralization.
If time travel is possible, then that must mean that there are no paradoxes to worry about, probably due to multiple timelines, be they of the parallel or branching variety.
Ok. Time travel is possible, but nobody's ever returns because they're traveling back in time to where the earth currently is, not where it was hundreds or thousands of years ago.
Because our solar system is moving through the galaxy, they're ending up in the middle of deep space. As a result, most shooting stars that we see now are actually the corpses of successful time travelers from the future.
Make a series of short hops, not one long leap into the past. Make complex calculations about where in space the desired location will be, pop into space around that location, and make the landing on the planets surface from the outside. Most importantly. Send sensors before people to spot mistakes before you fall into them, and use the data from them to plan your route.
Also, there's no issue if the time travel is occurring within a space that is tethered to the earth like any other object, for example, a box that, when activated, starts going back in time, but through its previous states, like in primer.
There also the idea of sending information back in time, rather than people, imagine that sjw trash game life in strange, max goes back in time by sending information from her brain in the present to the brain of herself in the past, if parallel, it's her past self in another timeline, if branching, to herself in the sane tineline, which then diverges from the one that led up to the future max that sent her information back in time, which of course, implies that there exists many Maxines in the life is strange universe whose powers seemingly stopped working, or who had never discovered their ability on the first place, despite being the ones to use them for the first time.
That was how it was supposed to work, at least in the beginning of the game, it worked like that, but then the devs lost interest in the science of their science fiction abd just wanted to use her powers for a teen drama young adult murder mystery, and just started making her powers act as the writers wanted them to at the time. Most notoriously at the end, where they brutally mangle the butterfly effect the sane way everyone else in science fiction has, by failing to understand that it's predicated on a chain of logical causation, and there's no possible chain of causation that could make a hurricane come about as the result of a sociopathic lesbian drug dealer failing to get shot to death by the mentally ill guy she was trying to blackmail for his parents money.
The only thing more routinely mangled by tine travel fiction writers than the butterfly effect is Murphy's law, which properly understood means that anything with a greater than zero chance of occurring, no matter how slightly above zero the probability is, will become inevitable given enough opportunities to manifest itself, basically, no matter how bad the odds are of hitting hitting jackpot, so long as those odds are above zero, you will end uo hitting the jackpot with infinite rolls.
It doesn't say that everything is possible, it only says that everything within specific boundaries is possible, and that there is a definable distinction between possibility and probability.
Rock and Marty routinely upset me by failing to grasp these things.
They also fuck with her powers to give her new abilities as the plot demands at that very instant, only to ignore them after they were used that one time, they are more interested in a young adult lesbian murder mystery with time travel as a poorly established and inconsistent plot element rather than an actual sci fi story with a good grasp of its one point of deviation from the rules of our reality.
Time isn't a location in space. You can't go faster than a massless object like the photon.
Time is not a fundamental aspect of this universe.
Time is a human perception. Clocks tick faster away from a gravitational body because space isn't as condensed (in a way) as it is towards the center of mass. The curvature of space due to gravity is the only effect you see with this time business.
You're going at it all wrong. You're looking at time as a line going from point A to point B. It's an actual whole other dimension. If you've never heard the flatlanders explanation of how dimensions work,go look it up.
Done? Ok,so as the flatlanders can't precieve the 3rd dimension,we can't previeve the 4th dimenion. Well,we can in a very limited way,but not in any way that's meaningful. So in order to properly travel through the 4th dimension, that is,time, you have be able to properly precieve it and understand what it really is.
And the human brain can't do that. Nor do we have the sensory organs for it. Best I've ever been able to do is to slow and speed up time a bit and some pre/post cognition. I think you might be able to send thoughts and ideas to your past self like future memories since we're all really more like a worm-like thing from a 4th dimensional perspective. Which is probably why most "god" beings of legend tended to refer to humans as "worms".
You can time travel by hacking into the simulation servers. From there you can go pretty much anywhere and at any time you desire. The downside is that the servers have a real nasty anti-virus program that will delete you from the simulation and erase your existence from the mainframe as soon as you are detected.

That's pretty much what the book talks about.
The multiverse is a "simulation" where every possible outcome exists, and there is potentially some mechanism which allows tapping into it.
The downside is that every "simulation" exists from beginning to end already hardcoded, and that means that we are "stuck" in this one until we figure out how to slide to another one or our consciousness in this one ends.
Maybe we can start with something that is likely: Someone in the future will invent it. Perhaps it won't be suitable for organic life to transit, or even mass. What if information can be sent? I would focus on building the radio.
They once held a convention for time travelers, expecting the arrival of visitors from the future, none showed up.
Except they all did.
In our timeline, we set up the convention and see no one arrive, then in the future, time travel is invented, the time travelers then go back in time to the convention after learning about it, they arrive and have a good time.
But since going to the past means entering a different version of the past between your point if departure and point of arrival, the original tineline they came from, where no one showed up to the convention, remains unchanged.
Maybe time travel is possible, but once you travel you begin a new timeline. The time traveler ends up spending the rest of his life trying to find his original timeline, to no avail.

No surprise that David Cage is a perverted jew who wasn't even able to have it in Hollywood when standards were as low as they'd gotten.

Exactly "what" is sent through time? Is every molecule sent back and then perfectly arranged again? Holy six gorillion batmat!
What is consciousness? Is it a physical thing? Is it an ephemeral thing? Does it attach to the physical body? How does it know "when" to attach?
What are thoughts and memories? How would they be transported through time?
