I currently use one of the big jewish banks. I want to stop using it and store my money elsewhere. I am not sure of my options. I guess a smaller bank is one option (does anyone have experience with this). Any other suggestions?

This is my suggestion. They are set up as not-for-profit entities and must abide by those rules. They don't typically participate in risk based lending. That being said, you'll probably have to deal with a lot of niggers. But at least they aren't run by fucking jews, as they are owned my it's members. Most have boards you can apply to be on and hold owner meetings to voice your opinion on policies within the credit union.
I closed my bank account not long ago because of everything happening. If they can take your job, they can take your accounts. I put a little in a smaller bank, buried some precious metals, diversified my portfolio, and put the rest in a safe.
People don't realize that when the economy collapses most transactions become local. Ultimately you have to have stuff that other people want. Most of this stuff will have practical value like ammo. This is something the gold/crypto promoters don't realize. (I own both BTW.)

I have been growing a garden for many years, and potatoes is one of my crops. One of the things I've been contemplating is setting up a distillery to get hard liquor. I have no experience with them however, and should probably start doing my research.

Leave only enough in a bank to handle you daily weekly cash card needs etc.

If USA you need to send photos of drivers license etc for verification. They will have that process when you sign up. You might as well start that process now even if you aren't sure you want to buy Bitcoin yet because the process can take a few days if they are busy.
Buy some Bitcoin on Binance.
Then Transfer that Bitcoin to the addresses of several paper wallets. The first amount should be tiny until you are sure you understand how it works and can verify the Bitcoin got transferred.
Then do more to another paper wallet. Keep the amounts low on each one so you don't lose all your money if you lose one wallet.
Store those wallets in a safe place or several different safe places if it's a lot.
Congratulations! You now can store as much cash as you want for free that no one can seize and it's very likely in 4 more years it will have grown tremendously in value as it has every 4 years since it was invented.
Leave only enough in a bank to handle you daily weekly cash card needs etc.
If you sell Bitcoin pay your taxes. Also know that all your transactions from those wallets are easily traced since the money you transferred from your verified account at binance is to those Bitcoin addresses and all transaction from any Bitcoin address can be followed on the Blockchain.
So don't do illegal shit and pay your taxes.
But now you have your money out of banks and the only way it can be seized is if you give up your paper wallets and don't lose them.
Btw. Don't use hardware wallets. You end up writing your password for them on a price of paper anyway so you might as well just have paper wallets. Paper wallets can't lock you out of your own money like a stupid hardware wallet can. Hardware wallets are gimmicks. ( Cue all the hardware wallet idiots who also probably got vaccinated)
