Intro/Rant

submitted by heebiejeebies to introductions 2.2 yearsFeb 15, 2022 13:55:38 ago (+4/-0)     (introductions)

Hi goats,

I finally decided to stop lurking and join nuvoat. I was sonofaboomer for a bit on the old site until it got axed, then like most people I went to poal and lurked for a bit, discovered that place gives you ass cancer, and fucked off until system gave us this.

Frankly, I'd be more content lurking and would not have made this account except I could use some advice (more on that in a bit).

Decided to change the name to heebiejeebies, but it honestly took me a while to come up with a decent name. I like it though. First, it has heeb in it, which in my opinion is the best insult for a kike. It just flows off the tongue better. Also I like the rhyme. Second (third?), the phrase "heebie-jeebies" is intended to represent a feeling of anxiety, apprehension, depression or illness. This feeling permeates our wonderfully diverse, doomed society, and the heebs are, generally speaking, responsible for a great deal of it, so I find this to be quite tongue-in-cheek.

start rant

Anyways, you'll find on old voat that I posted a thread titled "I'm About to Quit My Job" . tldr they were forcing vaccines at my woke liberal company, and a lot of people gave me very helpful advice, some not so helpful (made me remember how much I miss the dinks like ChefDong though). The company didn't go through with it at the time, but they have since. Again, I refused to be vaccinated and was granted an exemption. To keep my exemption, I have to get tested twice a week (once via nasal swab and once via home test kit), but I told them in polite terms to, as they say, eat shit. Boss sends me home to work remote for a week to avoid violating company policy. Whatever, I'm not quitting.

HR emails back something like: If you don't comply with testing, you will be voluntarily resigning. I email them back: I'm not resigning; you have to terminate me. I come back into work after taking Monday off, and the big boss lady shows up half way through my day to get my desk cleared out and escort me out of the building because I'm being "suspended". No other info was offered i.e. duration, with/without pay, etc. HR is supposed to contact me with further details, but they locked me out of my work email and the company apps portal.

Now I guess I need to contact an employment lawyer. Anyone have experience with shit like this?

Here's some advice: don't pay a lawyer for a consultation. You may have to call a lot of offices, but don't pay a single cent for a meeting. Look for lawyers in your area that handle union related problems, because they'll typically also provide the type of service you're looking for.

Also, amalek died for our sins and fuck off we're full niggerfaggot.

Welcome back. NuVoat has a lot more bullshit than OG Voat (FYI: fightKnightHero is a real Israeli).

I have no firsthand experience with employers and forcing experimental science jooce on employees, but many will likely support the "work for yourself" path.

Thank you.

Isn't there a class action suit put together by a firm called Rentz, I probably misspelled it. You may want to check out where they are and general advice for your state for wrongful termination. Most of the time consuls are free.

Are you getting paid? If not then you are suffering damages.

I was "suspended" abruptly and told to clear my desk, but I was not given any more information than that, then I was escorted out the door. Should I have stood my ground and asked questions about the suspension more aggressively? Probably, but it is a bit too late for that now. I was told by the director of my group (my boss' boss) that HR will be contacting me some time in the future. However, I am unable to access my work email because I have been locked out of my work account by IT.

I think they're trying to push me out and get me to resign in a weird, passive aggressive "we're not firing you, but we're not not firing you" way. Frankly, it's cowardly and pathetic, but it's a shitlib company in a shitlib city, so it's not surprising behavior. These people are all hugs and smiles but turn into passive aggressive bullies when you don't tow the ideological line.
